The entire move experience was worry-free because of all the professional and friendly folks who came to my home or interacted with me on the phone. Exceptional group of nice people. I relocated several times during my career with van lines selected by my employer, United among them. United stood out as the best, which is why I chose United whenever the choice (and in retirement, the expense) was mine. My recent move from Tucson, AZ to Dexter, MI went smoothly from its planning stages through to delivery. Shane, who drove the van and was in charge of loading and delivery, deserves special commendation. He did an outstanding job. Crews arrived on time for move-out and delivery and worked efficiently. Michigan winters can play havoc with delivery schedules. Shane let me know ahead of departure how weather might affect the schedule and kept me up-to-date by phone during transit.
